Fixed rooflight installed on a new upstand, fully waterproofed into the surrounding deck.
Challenging details
Making a permanent watertight junction between glass, timber cladding and the flat roof field.
Solution
Warm-roof build-up under the rooflight, reinforced liquid apron dressed up the upstand and out onto the deck.
Finished result
Daylight without compromise - a crisp rooflight with a fully sealed weatherproof surround.
